He's struggling to cope with the loss of his brother and his business.

Dealing with Matthew's death and the demise of the family business sends Jimmy King over the edge this week. And, as he bids a final farewell to his brother, he lashes out at the congregation at the funeral.

He's horribly fragile on the day of the burial, and his mood is not helped by the news that his dad Tom's gravestone has been defaced. Once again, Jimmy turns to booze and almost comes to blows with Zak at the Woolpack. The villagers look on in pity as he's dragged out by Daz and Carl half cut and ranting like a loon.

Nick Miles says " Its all too much for him. The family is broken and he is furious that somebody could disrespect them so much they'd do that to Tom's grave at a time like this".

Jimmy then makes an exhibition of himself when he stands at the altar and accuses practically everyone of being responsible for the graffiti.

"He has a real rant. He accuses Daz because Matthew didnt like him, and then points the finger at Andy Sugden. Next he goes for the Dingles, then Chas and Katie, who he calls bimbos. After them, its Rodney, Pearl, Betty and Vaughan and finally Anna who arrives late and slips into the church. He is on a roll and has really lost it"

Jimmy then storms out of the funeral in disgust. Has he got the strength to get over whats happened and start afresh?

All I can say is.....fair point well made Jimbo!
