If it was one quote on some websites person 2 quotes person 1, then person 3 quotes person 2 but replies to person 1, then it looks a bit daft (and thats a little confusing ) But if 2 quotes were allowed and person 3 quotes person 2 and there are two quotes, then its clear who is being replied to. Then if you bring person 4 into it who quotes person 3, person 1's quote is lost but you can still see 2&3 so know what they're on about. Does that make sense and are you still with me?
