My biggest claim to fame is that I was at Chingford High school with David Beckham between 1988-90. I never knew him because he was 2 years below me. A mate of mine used to babysit him as a kid though.

I used to share a flat with a sound engineer for the band Uriah Heep and at the time would earn extra money taking some of the band to the airport and back. The lead singer, Mick Box, owns a flat in Woodford. Mick is an absolute top bloke by the way, not at all pretentious as some in the business are. This was circa. 1995 and at the time they had a new album out and were touring the world again. One time I took them to the airport they were off to support Deep Purple in South Africa.

I've played golf with Frank Carson at an opening at a new course and met loads of footballers.
