Yehh, all schools are like that. I'm kinda the "gay" of my year. I don't care though. Whether I'm gay or not is no concern of them (I'm not, by the way lol), but if he doesn't mind, then you shouldn't and the fact is that most girls respect boys who stand their grounds and not those who pick on others to look "hard", so in the end, your friend will come out on top.
