Default Cold Leaves the UK

For what has been one of the worst weeks of winter for almost 20 years the two week long cold snap is now leaving as slightly warmer conditions will ensue for the half term week. Tonight will see a final cold night, most likely for eastern areas which rural temperatures may drop to around -5c.

Forecaster for Kwik Weather Forecasting Services Rob Howard adds "The upcoming week will be milder for all with temperatures pushing double figures, but dont be fooled, it won't be a pleasant week as there will be a mixture of cloudy and dull days with drizzle and some days with some heavier rainfall days, particulary in the first half of week"

Forecasters believe that a change back to colder conditions is likely to end of the month, so enjoy the milder and dull weather, it wont be round for long.
