Basically they divided the house to set up a them and us situation to get the bitching and backbiting going. In this they succeeded.

I think the excessive budgets were there to get people drunk, get the inhibitions down and turn BB3 into a shag-fest. I think we ought to at least congratulate the contestants for that not happening. (Okay there may have been a few incidents or near misses depending who you believe, but it was never an orgy).

Unfortunately new people were attracted to this format, who may not have been BB fans in the past. C4 have made loadsmoney. I doubt whether they'll give a monkeys what the true BB fans want!
