Makosi's mistake was being stupid enough (or cheap enough) to have a synthetic weave put in, and trying to keep it for the length of time that she has. Synthetic hair, because it's cheap, is generally used when someone wants to wear a style for a matter of days, and then take it out. It's almost a disposable weave in a way, as one wash and it's finished.

If she'd used 100% human hair, she'd have been able to wash it, not just once or twice, but regularly, and it would have lasted the duration of her stay in the house. This is what most black women with weaves use, and would never dream of going ten weeks without washing it. Unfortunately, a lot of people are now going to think Makosi is typical of a women with a weave, which is not the case.

Fair enough, not everyone has a spare 200 odd quid to get a proper weave, but if she couldn't afford it, she should have re-thought her style and gone for something else. Also I just found out that Craig cant do anything with black hair as he isnt trained to work with afros or anything like that.

In Looking at pictures of her from her enterance into the house and how her hair is now she looks completely different. I have read a few rumours that she could have/had cancer and wears a wig because she has no hair but in order to have a weave you need atleast 5 inches of hair to attach it to. Weaves take monthly maintenance which means taking it all out to tighten it back up again.

On a final note I think big brother is letting her keep the wig from the task a while back is still unfair, I dont see why all task equipement but her wig was allowed back and its unfair that big brother havent asked for it back. Why should Mememekosi get special treatment?!
