I hope when plannng BB4 they actually listen to the real fans- yes things do have to change from year to year and this year there were just too many changes. You cant put a group of people into a closed environment for weeks at a time and give them nothing to do. I am sorry but a 10 to 15 minute 'simple' task on a Saturday night is not going to keep the housemates from getting bored. To be honest I am surprised that more of them didnt walk out.
The longer tasks that they had in the past (getting on a Saturday and practising until the following Wednesday) served several purposes. It got the group working as a group, got them to know one another better, gave them something to focus on and because the amount of money they had to spend on food was dependent on whether or not they passed meant the tasks really meant something. OK this year if they failed they went to the poort side, but apart from the first week they managed to smuggle quite a large amount of extra provisions over. Remember last year when they had £28.50 between 6 of them after the Paddy task failed. They was just as hard for them.
Sorry to ramble, but I really feel that if the BB experience is to continue, the powers that they have to sit down and really analyse this years programme. Do we really want to see a repeat of all the bitching and drunkness which is basically all that this year will be remembered for.
