OK he lied, I'm not saying it's right, he shouldn't have, but now the producers know it, they should have let him in instead of ejecting him.

The housemates probably would have had a general check-up before going in, but in this case I presume it was up to McFly to inform the producers he had a pacemaker fitted.
As Jack said, maybe people with such a condition were not eligible to apply, or they had to go for a more thorough examination before taking part.
If the former was the case and they had allowed him to stay, they may have faced a public backlash for keeping him despite the fact he had broken audition rules. Or, as I said, had anything serious happened to him, the producers may have been partly liable for allowing him to take part.
It's down to personal opinion I suppose, but I believe his ejection was warranted.
