I've only just got round to watching my video of this and I have to admit I was impressed. The last time I saw Amma she did a duet with Bubble and it was terrible. Darren Day is slimy, but perhaps better for doing a duet with than the hatted one.
I've no idea when this was filmed, so she's perhaps learnt more when she's been in the studio, but it still looked like she could do with a little voice training and instruction on microphone use. Most of the time her voice sounded lovely, but there were a few lines where it was a bit wonky. Not out of tune or anything, just a bit strained and not sounding right. There were also a few bits where she was holding the microphone too far away so we lost her.
I still think she might struggle to make it in the charts for all kinds of other reasons, but now I've seen this performance I've changed my mind about her singing not being good enough.
