But from the friends I know, they see the day their mother died (the anniversary, I guess) as a morbidly sad day.
In that case, they will hate mother's day regardless, even i she didnt die on that day.
A lot of people dont like that day, because it reminds them that their mother is not here anymore. So everyone will see it differently. In this case given she's been in agony for a while, I dont consider it a sad day.
