Why should I like him when, by his own admission, he doesn't like himself?

Actually I did laugh at an Alex moment which hasn't even been mentioned. Jade was going on about "someone leaving tonight" and Alex looked upwards, rolled his eyes and crossed his fingers. Brilliant silent comedy, and much funnier than miming That's the Way I Like It behind the door!
