One person chosen by the public will become the victim of many jokes played by BB and BB will tell the person to do various things to annoy the HMs, so basically, that person is BB's bitch, the housemates will not know about this.
If there is a couple split them up by putting them away from each other (if the couple annoy us), eg. would have worked well with Maxwell and Saskia.
I know these are bad, but i got them randomly from the top of my head.
