Okay, first things first. I haven't included any of the Reality TV winners where the song is a cover. Therefore, Alexandra Burke, Leona Lewis, Steve Brookstein, Shayne Ward etc. aren't included. Will Young, Girls Aloud and Hear'Say, however, are.
I've also ruled out all Elvis re-releases, charity/novelty songs (such as Bob The Builder, Axel F, Band Aid 20 and the Tweenies) because they're all crimes against music.
