English Lit will be hard, but I reckon you'll reek the benefits after the 3 years at Uni - cos it's that good of a degree compared to some of the ones you listed.
But you would have to enjoy at least to a certain extent, or you mightn't last 3 years, haha!
At uni, you really only take ONE subject. In the first year, you can do 1/2 "minors", but they do not count towards anything at all, you get nothing from them. They're only there incase you change your mind about what you want to major in.
