omfg. it was amazing!!! SERIOUSLY. AMAZING!
We got there about 5:45 it was quite late and PACKED. About 3,000 people there, there were people with microphones and they were sharing them out, about 1 to every 4 to 5 people, there was one huge screen showing the public that where there. We were in the middle. There was a countdown, then Vernon Kaye got on stage.
Vernon said 'Welcome everyone, let me explain everyone has a microphone, lets test if it works!?' EVERYONE SCREAM!! everyone screamed LOL. He carried on and said 'This will be the biggest Karaoke London has ever seen, if you don't know what a Karaoke is then your quite silly.' They played about 4 to 5 songs, including Hit Me Baby One More Time and Is This The Way To Amarillo.
There was a stage in the middle where a cameraman was standing on, so we were filmed alot. The camera man got off the stage and went through the crowd. Here is where my heart stopped, vernon got on stage and said we would be singing SO WHAT by P!nk. The crowd cheered and a woman is a grey hoodie got on stage took off her hood AND IT WAS P!NK HERSELF.
WE WERE LITTERALLY 1 METER AWAY FROM HER WHEN SHE TOLD US TO COME ON STAGE WITH HER. Me and 3 friends got on stage as well as about 5 other people.. SHE PUT HER ARM AROUND ME AS WE WERE ALL SINGING! IT WAS UTTERLY FANTASTIC!
When it was all over me and my friends called home and told them the news. One of the cameramen asked us to repeat the convo for the advert. SO WE ARE GOING TO BE IN OUR OWN ADVERT TOO.
