\'Family Guy\' movie in early stages

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane has revealed that 20th Century Fox are "in the early stages" of turning the animated TV comedy into a feature film.
Speaking to Wired, MacFarlane admitted that he already has a story idea for the big screen spinoff.
"We want to do it," he said. "Fox wants it. We know what we want to do with it. It's just a question of finding the time. That's why The Simpsons took so many years to do theirs. It wasn't because they didn't know what they wanted to do with it. They just couldn’t fit it into the schedule."
MacFarlane added that the workload for an animated show is "twice as much as you have to do for live-action".
"We're finding time where we can," he said. "We're in the early stages right now."
