OVER £1 MILLION GAMBLED ON BIG BROTHER 2005

William Hill can report that over £1 Million pounds has been staked with them on the outcome of Big Brother. The Million pound landmark was reached earlier in the week and is almost double the size of the previous record turnover.

" We have been astonished by the interest in Big Brother and it has once again proved that it is the 'Daddy' when it comes to reality television. It looks like a very close final vote on Friday night and we probably have the biggest twenty four hours still to come." said Hills spokesman Rupert Adams

Eugene is now the 4/9 favourite to win the show outright, despite his decision to keep the £50,000. The money suggests that Anthony is the only other housemate in contention and is quoted as the 13/8 second favourite.
