That's far too much and you'll just starve your body of nutrients and you'll mess up your metabolism. It means you'll have to lose like 2-3lb per week, which although doesn't sound much - as constant as EVERY week for 12 weeks will mean you will be suddenly starving your body.
Why don't you not set a numerical goal, and instead set yourself specific meal times, and healthy eating - and the losing weight is a bonus of eating healthy?
