I am a nurse Katerules, but not working shifts anymore. I do a Mon-Fri specialist practitioner job. No more details in case I am sussed out!!!
I wouldn't think you will get much choice on shifts in training, although the first part has lots of study, and tends to be decent hours.
When you are on shifts they are usually 7 till 3ish, 2.30 till 10ish or nights!
Think of all the young doctors though!!
There are compensations, and it's a great profession.
We need more!!! Especially children's nurses!!
