Oh no I meant the American one failed. Even now I know producers from around the world still steal our ideas. BB9 was (in terms of twists and production) as good as the series' that rated the best ... the public just aren't behind it anymore because its been on that long. Thats the only problem with it. Whether it can continue is a different thing altogether, if it does it will almost definitely become a cult show.

I think both (UK and US) versions are rather complementary. Why ? Because one does have the basis (public vote, shopping tasks ...) while the other has the strategy side to the experiment. So both lacks something that can be found in the other, see ?
About the US version, like I said, it would fail in Europe, we don't have the same look at it, the same spirit to play such games. The American public love competitive shows, that's what they got.
Then again, the UK series managed to create something new, even in its lowest points while the US version is gathering its values to produce a show on the long term.
