I don't really dislike anyone I know in real life so I'm not going to start disliking them from what I see on a TV show. It's a pity, I think, that because some Big Brother housemates are liked, there have to be some that are disliked.

I too thought Elizabeth was OK. She did about 4 or 5 things that really wound me up, mind you, but I saw those as isolated incidents in the 9 weeks. She provided the balance in the house to the lively, more active ones, a balance that was missing this year.

There's a difference between how someone comes across on television, when interacting with others, and what they're like in real life.

I think a lot of people would get on well with Elizabeth if they were forced to spend a lot of time with her. When I see some of the highbrow cultural reference points that people sometimes use to discuss things here, I kind of think they would enjoy her company in a situation like that and discuss Shakespearean sonnets or politics or something with her rather than the more 'wafer-thin' topics of the other housemates.
