It would have made more sense for their ad campaign. BB9's was about BB being evil again...so sleeping on boxes would have been appropriate. BB10's was "not what you expected", so hidden identities would have made more sense.
If I'm honest though, both twists kind of suck. I think since the bedsit they have been afraid to do an interesting twist.
