Very true.
Sam is a very pretty girl - much prettier than Orlaith I think, but everyone finds different people attractive! The problem for Sam (and Orlaith for that matter) is that looks only get you by for a while. People soon want a bit more - like a personality. Maxwell for example really fancied Sam when he first saw her, but went off her because he said she was boring. I also thought she was a boring housemate. I felt sorry for her because I think she struggles to make friends with people - or certainly she did in that house. I would guess that she uses her looks a lot outside the house to get people to like her, but in the house, it didn't work. I thought she was the same on the program about what the housemates did next. Pretty, but insipid (the same could also be said for Anthony)!
