Google intermittent fasting, alot of people do it. It's not about weight loss so much as it is about health benefits, clearing out your system of toxins etc. We eat a whole load more than we used to a few thousand years ago. Nowadays our food is easily available, packed with sugar and carbs etc that we don't need, hence growing rates of obesity.

I understand where Angel is coming from, she's just trying to prove her point that going a couple of days without food wont do you any harm, but it's a bit of a dangerous point to prove. Some people might get the wrong message and think that it's OK to not eat properly inbetween fasts or just think that fasting is the best way to lose weight when it really isn't.
