Oh this is ridiculous. Why a press conference, what more is there to know?
He's been a very influential person for many people. He's a music legend.

News have always covered big stories like this in the past, such as the death of Elvis and assasination of Lennon.
Its funny how the rose tinted glasses come out when someone has died. He has been nothing and nowhere these last 10 years, quite a laughing stock too and not to mention the trial ... at least Elvis and Lennon died with a good reputation in tact.

Music legend? Probably. Good person? No. Deserving of all this attention? No.
What has being a good person or not got to do with it?

Okay, he has hardly done anything in the last 10 years.

But he was in the media spotlight more this year due to his tour. And he was a music giant. A great. The one musician to have sold the most number of records in our generation. An inspiration to many, with fans going into millions.

No one is saying he is a saint. No one is saying his reputation is in tact.

But he has unfortunately passed away, and many people will mourn, and it will be the talking point of the world for the next few days, and therefore the media are covering it so extensively everywhere around the world.
I suppose its your prerogative if you find the death of a paedophile sad.
Was he actually a paedophile?
I thought he wasn't found guilty in 2005?
