It was calming down but the thunder and lightning is getting worse again. I hate lightning as once, at my parents house, it hit the telegraph pole and travelled down the line and several appliances ended up blowing up. I wasn't there at the time but the thought of this happening quite frightens me. Apparently there was a ball of fire in the middle of the living room.
