You said it yourself, Christianity and The Bible itself are both not completely fit or compatible with todays modern world. Then in my mind, it's not a church for me!

I know I'm a part Christian but I'm still one. What is being written in the Bible should be interpreted differently through the time because values and morals change.
It still is a Church tho because it has such an influence on people's life, it's an institution. And we don't all believe in the same way.
