BB9 was better and is my second favourite season behind BB7. I like it even better when looking back. I was so pleasantly surprised (Iwas sitting there wishing Rachel would beat Mikey, thinking it was a lost cause), happy and ecstatic when Rachel won. The most likeable and deserving winner ever, and didn't try and cling to fame after leaving like she could have done. The only thing that would have made it sweeter was if Sara had come runner up instead of Mikey

This year just doesn't match up- it's just floating by to me, and we're now into the fifth week, and it STILL feels as if it hasn't stepped into gear yet, I am praying that the birthday week will change this.
This year I don't find any of the HMs to be as likeable, especially when compared to last years batch like Rachel, Sara, Rex, Lisa. Even the villains aren't as fun or make me love/hate them as much as Mario, Bex and Luke. This year I just hate them- they are no fun at all. And none of the dkhead gang can ever compare to uber bitch Alex.
I preferred the house as well, and it was the last year that the show got any decent media coverage, and the last year where the show remotely felt like event television.
I do think however that BB10 will seem better looking back.
