Default I went to Birmingham today and I LOVED IT

Today, me and my Orchestra (yes I'm a band geek, lol) went to Birmingham for the Music for Youth festival.

The standard of the orchestras was SO high so I was really nervous as I was doing a duet bit. However, it went really well and the adjudicators said the duet was of a high standard. ECSTATIC!!

Then I went into Birmingham properly, ofcourse, living on an Island, it's SO much different to England. 99.99% of people here are white, it's VERY sheltered. Seeing an array of multiculture (black, asian etc) was amazing. Also seeing some LGBT people was great. Also, so many people there have a great sense of style! I love the buildings there too and I loved the feel of it. There was loads of music things today and I adored it. I'm looking for composition courses in Birmingham now haha!

I kept telling my girlfriend (also a bandgeek haha) how amazing it was.

So to anyone here from Birmingham; I envy you.
