We stay in Shanklin and meet up with several other families over there, we have gone to the same hotel for 12 years now, it's on the esplanade.
It's cool that you live on the Isle of Wight though, that would be really cool! The island must be almost empty during the winter because all of the tourists and festival-goers have gone.
