Part of the reason why Freddie has became so popular was because he was the underdog yes, but it certainly wasn't the only reason.

The reason why he is so popular is the way he has acted throughout the 6 weeks. Even when he has had a horrible group of people pretty much ganging up against him trying to get him out of the hosue and treating him like ****, he has never played the victim, has stuck up for himself, and has acted with dignity throughout, which can't be said for alot of the other housemates.

I think the reason so many people are disliking Freddie now is just because he became so popular. The reasons that people give for disliking Freddie are clutching at straws to say the least. The guy really hasn't done much wrong in the house, and has shown that he is a genuinely nice bloke.
If you read my thread, you'll see that I didn't say I disliked Freddy. I do actually like the guy and I would like to see him win. But his winning is nowhere near in the bag. There's more than enough time for him to do something that will turn everyone. It is of course, all up to Big Brother and how they portray him in the editing. THAT is the key.
