I am dead against it and always have been, and p****d off lot of people within my community regarding this issue.
You're a Muslim? But your Prophet Mohammad married his cousin... Zaynab Bint Jahsh.

Bit of a contradiction innit... calling yourself a Muslim then disagreeing with the actions of your own Prophet?
Why is it that if a Christian had said they didn't agree with a practice in their religion, no one would say a word but you felt free to judge this person for not blindly following everything in his? Seems a bit racist to me.
Erm first of all Islam isn't a 'race' so how am I racist. Not to mention I am ex-Muslim myself and have Muslim relatives so I'm definitely not racist.

If Christianity was being discussed then I would talk about Christianity, but since it's not why even bring that into it?
Because I highly doubt you would have said the same thing to someone who was Christian and saying something similar about the Christian faith. In fact, I have seen people on this forum say things like that and NO ONE says anything about it. I don't care if you "used to be" muslim or not. That is sort of like saying that you can't be racist because you have a black friend. And yes, I do use the term racist because most people who are muslim (not all... but most) are not white british people and are, unfortunately, singled out by their ethnicity.
Well my sister is Muslim as are my nieces and nephews... you honestly think I am racist towards them? No I'm not.

And yes I do question Christians about their beliefs, it's just people don't discuss religion on this forum and this is the only time I have seen someone openly talking about their religion on here.

I do frequent other religion-based forums where I do debate with Christians/Jews/Hindus/atheists etc.

FYI: Debating or questioning someone about their beliefs doesn't equal racist or prejudiced.
