She's not snide at all.
Why is she?

She doesn't whisper and bitch behind peoples' backs, she just asks questions outright.

For example, last night she was talking about Marcus to Noirin and the others, when he walked in - anybody else would have changed the subject or just shut up.

But Bea didn't, she just asked Marcus straight out what it was that made him so obsessed with Noirin.

Exactly the same with Ken in the garden the other day, instead of clamming up she just brings him into the conversation.

That's the opposite of snide, surely.

It takes a bit of getting used to admittedly, but I'd rather have people like her than all the behind backs bitching.
