"YOU ARE A FOOL IF YOU TAKE DRUGS"

You come over like a public service announcement, and people won't respect your point of view if you do that.

I'm not having a go at you twilight.. I'm just offering you some advice here. You want to know why people take drugs, then get into a discussion with people who do, or who have done. You don't want to take them, that's your choice, and I respect that, but you have to respect that everyone is entitled to make their own choices about whether they take drugs or not, and not everyone's circumstances are the same. People take different drugs for different reasons, and not everyone becomes addicted.

You have much to learn about this subject. You can't learn everything from a textbook. Obviously you are young (as is Firewire), and you won't know everything about life, but it's surely better to listen the opinions and experiences of others and respect that they make their own choices in life, than to come over like an anti-drug campaigner.

If you aren't tolerant, you're going to come under fire in discussions such as these.
