I must admit you do have a few points about the irish man on the show and the other people on the show, but if the show was shot in Eire, Northern ireland or Scotland, the audience would be full of the local gobshites, nothing to do with any particular nationality.

I live in scotland and the scots hate the english, have also lived in ireland, north and south the irish hate the english but when push come to shove, its simply banter.
