Was it necessary for Noirin to tell Marcus anything about her and Siavash, given that she had already made up her mind to go for Tom??? She and Siavash could easily have agreed to keep cool in the house and no more kissing.
It was done to try and create drama. Just like, predictably, when Marcus was sulking , she HAD to go up to him and start a discussion when it was obvious he needed to be left alone. All done to make a mountain out of a molehill. She is a very sad person if her life is so boring, her hobby is making people dance to her tune. Nasty Nasty.
