Ok, don't kill me for being mellow-dramatic but after staying up most of Friday night watching L/F and watching the conversation Marcus & Noirin were having, It came across to me like Marcus was mentally abusing Noirin, telling her basically that every decision she made was wrong and that she was incapable of thinking for herself cos she was wrong. And that he couldn't be her friend because she didn't do what he told her to do. It just struck me that this very like an abuser beating down a person confidence to keep them in their control.
