Victoria Beckham’s new ad campaign on swings

Victoria Beckham shot the new ad campaign for her A/W 2009-2010 dress collection on the street in London’s Notting Hill area on July 23rd, last week.

She was dressed in her own designed £2,095 ( $3,462) grey carmontelle cashmere-blend dress, £480 ($793) Christian Louboutin Bianca platform pumps and was very busy by directing the shooting.

The idea of the ad is very interesting - London street, and swings attached to the house.

The models was swaying on the swing in stylish outfits and making happy faces.

Posh, in spite of the pleasure one would ordinarily expect to get from riding a swing, kept her usual serious face and didn’t smile.

Among the designs being modelled was a strapless purple satin gown and a £1,190 ($1,966) ornamented wool jersey dress.

The new autumn/winter 2009-2010 season is the second range by Victoria Beckham, who launched her first fashion collection last year.

Her capsule dress line features figure-hugging and formal dresses which are matched to fit and flatter the woman’s figure.

Posh said her own label had been a long-time coming.

In an interview at the time, she told:

Do I draw? No. Then again, nor do lots of designers. But I put it all on myself and walk around in it, and I know what feels comfortable. I know how a dress should sit.

‘I’ve worn so many in the past and when I see the photographs I think, crikey, my boobs are up round my neck again because the corsets are too short and not cut high enough.’

Victoria’s dress collection is available for sale in Britain at Harrods, Selfridges and Net-A-Porter.com.
