Default Women hitting men - Male victims of domestic violence

Men are increasingly becoming the more silent victims of domestic violence. As we have a discussion on men hitting women I figured it might be nice to address the balance and look at things from the other perspective.

There are more and more helplines and agencies in place to help men who are victims of domestic violence but I wonder how many men access these? how many men feel they have the courage to say enough?

Some of the sites I came across are worth a look, statistics etc might prove eye opening for example "Home Office research states that one in five men will be victims of domestic violence and two men every three weeks are killed by their partner. "

What was very clear is that there is no where near the amount of support available for men as there is for women who are victims of this type of cruelty.

So what are your thoughts? should there be more help available?
