I agree with the original point.

Marcus is very wrong to say that Noirin and Siavash just suddenly abandoned him.

They have both tried to make the peace with him and he has refused.

Now, he might think he's justified and has been betrayed.
But he should at least tell the truth and say "Yes, they've both tried to be mates but I'm too much of a tit to accept it".
