He is one of these self-deluded sort of hypocrites.
Here is a guy who decides to 'crack the whip' on the house on an upcoming task.
He doesn't want any foolishness or else!
Or else they will have a force to reckon with in him!

He then gets so angry over losing 2 out of 8 questions and being reminded of his launch photo that he has a little temper tantrum and loses a pile of tokens.

Then has the balls (lack of balls) to make a twist of fake 'arguments' somehow putting the guilt on the house or Big Brother and somehow having himself come out as the 'big man' of the situation.

This hypocrisy (and its a petty sort) but this is easily the worst of the worst in Marcus weak character.
He can actually 'say' some perfectly reasonable and even helpful 'announcements' and observations and 'portray' a reasonable stand for himself.
Okay.
But too often - in virtually the next breath - he behaves in the complete opposite of the said ideal.

But the truly desperate thing is that he isn't even a 'bald faced hypocrite'.
Its worse.
He is the sort of hypocrite with a built-in self-deluding rationale that protects him from ever having to acknowledge his own betrayals and mistakes.
The reason this is so devastating is obvious - he won't even acknowledge the problem to begin fixing it.
