She did say that her idea of free love was more of a spiritual thing. She told Freddie himself this.
I know, but i sense she backtracked. She had an orgy with friends and admitted to this. She har friends in a polygamous relationship and she thinks thats cool (which is fine, their business) but then says she's an "old fashioned girl" I think if she were going to tell the truth, she should just set Freddie straight and say she doesn't fancy him, but she's not.
Don't take every word so literally. Yes she may have slightly contradicted herself there but it's hardly a big deal. She is not leading Freddie on at all. There will be ups and downs in the house with one another. Freddie and Bea are clearly well suited together. There is a harmony about those two and long may it continue.
