I think he was aggressive.... he knew what he was walking into and didn't stop to think of the insensitivity on other HM'S.... just so long as he would look the 'cool dude' like a knight in shining armour.
If Noirin had rejected him he would have been out the house in a flash.
So it was 'insensitive' to talk to Noirin about Siavash in front of him....How bloody two faced...it wasn't exactly sensitive of him to walk in the house and claim Noirin as his prize and then laughing with Noirin about Siavash behind his back...
