I've only just discovered this thread but thought I'd add my thoughts. Lots already mentioned - did anyone else see Dirty Dancing when it was reshown recently? I love that. Also Brief Encounter and Its a Wonderful Life. But my all time favourite has to be Casablanca - have watched it so many times I know most of the script - As far as I am concerned You can play it again Sam any time you like.

Of recent films I love While You Were Sleeping - got nothing to do the fact that I really like Bill Pullman = but what a lovely love story
