Now hang on - I'm Irish too and using 'Irish' as a descriptive for an Irish person doesn't bother me one bit - in fact it seem fair enough really.

Had he said Paddy slag - or something like that then yeah, I'd have been pissed, but calling an Irish person Irish isn't an insult - it's an observation. Unless, that is, you think there is something wrong with being Irish?
