I read somewhere about a guy in Yorkshire who used to wear a small St. George's Cross tie pin, and his employer asked him to remove it because it might offend the non-English people working in the company.

Things like that are turning ordinary British tolerant people into racists, because we feel persecuted. I wholeheartedly agree with what Chris said. We don't go to other countries and try to make them more British, so why should foreigners settling here expect us to adapt?

Another thing is.. the foreigners who settle here probably don't want us to change, but the govt. sends out the wrong message, and makes us think that they do, therefore creating race divides.
