In Birmingham a couple of years ago, they had to call Christmas 'Winterval' if my memory serves me correctly
Ridiculous. Most people who celebrate Christmas in this country aren't bothered about the religioius part of it anyway.
Going OTT with policitical correctness causes more problems than it solves anyway. I remember reading about a drama teacher who wanted to take her class to see a stage production of Romeo and Juliet, and was told that she would not be allowed to because it was 'overtly heterosexual'.
Haven't these people got anything to worry about?
