there has been 11 episodes ... if a contestant wins the veto they can change the nominations a bit. they can save someone from eviction and then the HoH will have to put someone else up instead.
The cliques aren't usually a part of the game btw, its a new format for this season. Its not scripted.. keep watching you'll get used to it and fall in love with it!
