It's a cultural thing. The strongest swear word Rodrigo has encountered is Idiota. I'd rather be told to **** off (especially if it was said with a smile) by Charlie) than called an idiot. However for Rodrigo the F word is deeply, deeply D I S R E S P E C T F U L L !!!!!

A misuderstanding is all. Rodrigo will have to toughen up if he's staying here in UK. Of course, Charlie having seen that over-reaction (as he sees it from his cultural postiton) is playfully pointing out its incongruity. When Rodrigo over-reacts, Charlie fusses him (dog training term) to show him that it has no meaning. Rodrigo WILL learn eventually and get with the plot. I like Rodrigo and hope he will realise it is well-intentioned and not agressive.
